SHAUNA LEVY
Shauna Levy is a Canadian cultural visionary, entrepreneur and content creator. She is the former Interim CEO of byMINISTRY, an experiential lifestyle brand for the premium cannabis market. She is the co-founder of both the Interior Design Show (IDS), founder of Expo for Design Innovation & Technology (EDIT), and is the former President and CEO of Design Exchange (DX) in Toronto, Canada’s only cultural institution dedicated exclusively to the pursuit of design and innovation. During her time at the helm of Design Exchange (DX), Levy partnered with international organizations including the United Nations Development Programme, The Consulate-General of the Netherlands and governments including the Government of Ontario, and the City of Toronto. She has directed exhibits featuring Canadian and international designers and celebrated personalities, among them Pharrell Williams, Christian Louboutin, David Suzuki, Bruce Mau and Richard Florida; and her work with the Interior Design Show helped to put Toronto on the world design map. Several years ago, Shauna discovered the use of cannabis for helping to address her own chronic pain, stress and anxiety. It is now her dream to share this knowledge with women worldwide.
MEGAN OLDFIELD
Megan Oldfield is the founder and creative director of Field Design Office in Toronto. She has worked with some truly amazing people and partnered with companies as passionate about their brand as she is about design. She brings her unique perspective and diverse expertise in creative direction, strategy, design to implement branding, packaging, film titling, editorial, wayfinding and exhibition design. She has partnered with clients in the entertainment and sports industries, arts and culture, corporate sector and hospitality—most notably development of the Drake brand of properties; rebranding the flagship Drake Hotel and the branding and identity systems, wayfinding, packaging for Drake One Fifty, Devonshire and the Drake Commissary. She has previously worked at Bruce Mau, EMI Music Canada, Sagmeister & Walsh in NY and as an educator at Sheridan/UofT Mississauga Art and Art History Program where she taught fourth year design studio. Megan is a passionate design advocate and contributor to the RGD–Association of Registered Graphic Designers and the furtherment of graphic design and industry standards.
DI Gallo
Di is An established leader, social media, digital and content marketer. She’s led teams, developed digital and social solutions, strategies and campaigns for a number of brands across various industries: film, broadcast, direct-to-consumer, retail, start-ups, blockchain, nonprofit and telecom. Brands include: Indigo, Cineplex, Alliance Atlantis, Bell, and Rogers. Di is currently a lead Digital Marketing educator at BrainStation, a consultant, and is the co-chair of the board for a non-profit that empowers young girls to become our future leaders. She’s excited to bring her marketing expertise and enthusiasm for women’s health and wellness to the women’s cannabis wellness space; and to help build a brand that’s genuinely interested in creating thoughtful products and an inclusive community for women.
susie aDELson
Susie has spent the last 15+ years in media and strategic partnerships. She was instrumental in the launch of The Globe and Mail’s National loyalty and experiential program. She then led Global earned and owned media for Spin Master overseeing influencer and public relations. She has spent the last 2 years working in the Cannabis space on both the publisher, LP and retailer side of the business. Her strengths are the ability to find like-minded non-competitive partners who can work together to create amazing results.
LIAM HANEBURY
Liam Hanebury is a project manager, artist, and entrepreneur who brings a unique and varied skill set to the Madge and Mercer team. Growing up on Vancouver Island, he was exposed to the legacy cannabis market before relocating to Toronto to pursue a degree in theatre at York University in 2007. After completing his studies, he began working for Artscape, an innovative not for profit real estate development firm focused on supporting artists across Toronto, before moving into the nascent legal cannabis space in 2019. Holding a great respect for and understanding of the creative process, Liam is adept at taking large, ambitious, ideas and turning them into reality; while ensuring that quality, inclusivity, and resiliency are considered at every step.
Toni Stronach-Hesp
Toni attended postsecondary school in Vancouver, BC, where she studied Fashion Marketing and Merchandising. While pursuing a career in high fashion, she spent time working for Burberry, Holt Renfrew, and BigTime Showroom. She then went on to work in E-commerce for lifestyle retailer, Örling & Wu. When cannabis became legal in Canada, Toni jumped at the opportunity. She worked for Dutch Love, the first legal dispensary in the Okanagan and helped grow the business as a District Manager. She brings her love for building meaningful relationships and educating consumers on the benefits of the cannabis plant. Toni is thrilled to be working with such an innovative team, helping to bring light to the way cannabis can improve women's health.
Olivia Riemer
Olivia completed her BA at the University of Guelph where she studied communications and political science. She then went on to complete the Public Relations Postgraduate Certificate program at Humber College. After graduation, she worked for multiple women-owned startups in a variety of industries. As the Marketing and Sales Coordinator at Madge and Mercer, Olivia is excited about creating inclusive, supportive and engaging digital spaces for women that promote wellness, learning and accessibility. Olivia is passionate about educating women on health and wellness and is delighted to be a part of the Madge and Mercer mission to educate and expose women to the wellness benefits of cannabis.
